My job, at Centrobe Industries, was to take calls (but, crucially, not make calls) about magazine subscriptions, so there were lots of extraneous fashion mags lying around. I was really into androgyny at the time, was still painting my nails, loved this picture. Is it a boy or a girl? And how old is it?? Who can say. The colors are lovely, though. Reminds me of the cover to The Afghan Whigs’ Gentlemen.
